How we conducted our registry cleaner review

Initially we rounded up all the registry cleaners we could find on the internet and purchased each and every one. As we wanted to give our readers an outstanding report we decided to purchase the full range and put them to the test.

After days of testing on various systems with over used computers we found our final four. The defining factor between these four and the rest of the programs was the amount of unused files obtained from the scans.

It was clearly noticable that the cheaper programs were not picking up on certain things while the quality, dearer programs, were covering all registry clutter.

The Conclusion

Quality is number one! In our registry cleaner tests we picked up four scanners that stood out from the others. However there was one that dug a bit deeper than the others and that cleaner was RegistryFix. RegistryFix went into more detail and also discovered more rubbish and old files amongst the registries on multiple computers.
